...sellers states it's 95 inches wide and 119 in length, 19th century persian kerman and is asking $500... it does look to have a couple of stains, but is overall in good condition... i think this would compliment our 9x14 green kerman nicely and so i was looking to see what the forum thought. i also believe it to be signed, as well...

thanks in advance...

If the stains come out, it is worth $500, but you may be able to buy an unstained one from a reputable dealer for just a tad bit more. So many shops are "stuck" with these types of rugs either from older stock or customer trade-ins, that you could probably get a great deal on one. Just call and ask what's the best price they'll give you on an "American Kerman" roughly from the 1970s.

I agree with jahann. this is a 1960s-70s kerman. staining is no good. price could be lower but isn't horrendous. one area looked like it may have potential dry rot. it does look to have a signature panel. doesn't do anything for value. the wash tag on the back starts with bb. that's probably a rug imported by bashian brothers.
