Hi there,

Just trying to figure out what I have. I've just been told this is most likely a Lilihan c. 1930 - 1940. Just want to see what everyone thinks. All the photos I've seen online look just like Sarouk.

And how much is it worth??

Thanks for all your time.
Mandy

You have to include necessary images ie the back of rug and sides. It doesn't look like a Sarouk though.

Thanks, Ed. I am so new, I didn't see all the requirements. I will get them up soon. Thanks for weighing in.

Looks like it can be painted. Just my opinion. Also has alot of wear.

Yes, to me third picture suggests it's painted, too.

I have posted a back and side shot. I hope they are adequate. I do believe the rug is painted, too. Though, it's hard to tell. It does have a lot of wear.

Looks like blue single weft and symmetrical knot to me. That would be Lilihan rather than Sarouk, I believe.

Another oops on my part!

The rug is 8'10" x 12' or 106" x 144"

The Rug Appraisal feature on this site suggests somewhere between 300 and 500 USD (if I used that feature correctly ...). The experts here will be able to tell you more.
