Hi there, Just trying to figure out what I have. I've just been told this is most likely a Lilihan c. 1930 - 1940. Just want to see what everyone thinks. You have to include necessary images ie the back of rug and sides. It doesn't look like a Sarouk though.

Looks like it can be painted. Just my opinion. Also has alot of wear.

Yes, to me third picture suggests it's painted, too.

I have posted a back and side shot. I hope they are adequate. I do believe the rug is painted, too. Though, it's hard to tell. It does have a lot of wear.

Looks like blue single weft and symmetrical knot to me. That would be Lilihan rather than Sarouk, I believe.

The Rug Appraisal feature on this site suggests somewhere between 300 and 500 USD (if I used that feature correctly ...). The experts here will be able to tell you more.
