It's in the Heriz group but looks like a Goravan from the 50's or 60's. $300 to $500 for a
rug that new. Hard to sell. Retails much higher though.

I do not think it is single wefted. It is a typical Gorevan from 1960 with double selvages.

Sorry, RugPro. I don't have any more pictures. This is for sale and they are asking $450 so I am not sure it's worth that much are not.

If these guys are saying $3-500 I'd say $450 is probably a pretty good buy, assuming you really like the rug. I haven't been on here very long but it seems the prices thrown around are closer to wholesale than retail.

Plus if it's craigslist offer them $350 and see if you can walk away with it for $400.

Yes. I think a lot of the prices quoted here are close to wholesale, because you can, I think, get around wholesale prices on the web. This rug looks really nice, but would be out of my price range now. When rugs were really cheap on eBay a while back, I discovered it and sort of stocked up. Now we don't have any more room, but we have some really nice tribal and bazaar persian rugs (and one mediocre afgan, that is kind of nice and high kpsi, I think).

Thank you all for your valuable inputs. Finally I made my decision and bought this one for $400 & dropped it off for cleaning(cleaning charges: $140). I should have the rug back after two weeks then I should be able to post most detailed pictures for your review.
