Kara Kashan Kirman Rug - No idea of Value

I recently inherited a Kara Kashan rug. My father in-law had this rug for at least the last 30+ years. I am having some trouble identifying the rug. I have a picture of the label that is on it http://home.comcast.net/~1den1/rug.jpg
The stamping on the label is not clear in the photo but it reads as follows:
Design - KIRMAN
Patt - 828
Approx Size - 8-3X10-6
Reg. - 181506
The rug is in good condition. It has spent the last 30 years in an unused upstairs bedroom. I am interested in selling it but don't have a clue what it might be worth.
Can you shed some light or at least point me in the right direction as to the value of this rug.<p>

If I had it and sold it for $500 I would jump and down for joy. I suspect $300 - $400 would be reasonably good price. The market for used rugs is just not all that good - especially for a machine made rug. The Karastan name can often carry a great weight which is why I would think the $300 - $400 would be possible. (assuming very good condition etc.)

As to identifying the rug, the label gives you all the information you need. It's a machine made rug (as Jim said), and it's made by the American manufacturer Karastan, its of the pattern 828. If you'd try to sell it on ebay or similar, just provide photos and the information from the label.
