Our chinese 8x10' silk tabriz design carpet was "lost" during a move from Florida to Massachusetts in July, 2008 and we are looking for it, or a replacement. It was an older carpet (late-80's/early 90's) and had beautiful turquoise accents (total 28 colors), so we have had trouble finding a replacement. If you have come across this carpet, or can help us find a similar one we would appreciate it. The original appraisal is $16-18,000, and newer rugs of "similar quality" we have seen don't have the same sheen, color, or design. I will attach the details (appraisal and photos). If you think you can find a similar one with 625 double-knot/inch quality, please let me know.
Thanks,
Daniel Tarquinio
