400? Grab it! it's a good color, size and design. a few white knots, but those can be clipped out no problem. the rug does have a signature. it is refringed

....thanks for the response, rugpro... a quick follow-up question(s).

first, do you have an idea on age? is it around 40-50 years...or newer... also, how do you know it is re-fringed... and, what do you think of the rug itself...is it a nice piece but pretty common, or does it have a special-ness to it...i know that's a tough question and really depends on a lot of factors, but i'm also looking at the more general appeal of the rug, as well...does that make sense? i imagine that these kerman rugs are not very popular right now and can be found reasonably cheap, but they might not be so much in the future...do you ever think they'll be a collector type rug...

...and man, i wish i had your knowledge on these matters...
thanks again,

ps..and the sarouk is beautiful...i haven't had a chance to post pics...now we just need to figure-out where to put it!!!

does show some signs of wear, wouldn't be too concerned. just ask for low areas and the usual check points. blue is very desriable, although kermans now in general are out in style in new demand. refringe you can see wrapped around the edge of the rug in one of the photos. looks like original fringe and kilim are there, but worn down to the knots in some areas. age is circa mid 1950's going by intricacies, style, field, colors, etc.
