I have a chance to buy this rug which the owner was told is a turkish Makri. The basic question is the condiftion of the rug so great that it takes away any intrinsic value? Also is the rug just another 1920s rug or could it be older, turn of the century ?I would be paying a small amount, but I don't need a rug that has no value.

Thanks, the pictures have are limited, but they are what I have.

If I was paddling around the flea markets and saw that for $10, I'd pass. Unless there was enough t cut up for a pillow.

The rug looks like a Turkish Makri rug, but in my opinion its Caucasian Borchalo rug. dated 1325 = 1909
