Hello. After Brad shows us his mothers wonderful Bijar it was time for me to buy my own one. The size is about 4´5 to 9 ft. Do anybody knows about the name of design? Chris Chris attached the following image(s):

It's most likely a Kurdish Bijar. Jahann and Sons Persian Rugs 4210 Howard Ave | Kensington, MD 20895 301.530.6660 | www.jahannandsons.com

Yes. It is a Garrus Bijar. A Kurdish one. I often saw this kind of design in Eriwan rugs, sometimes in Bijar rugs. In Turkmen rugs it is called Gül-Aidi-Medallion. But i hoped to get the Iranian name for this.

Hi Brad.
I want to tell you again i like your rug sooo much. And my offer is still current. I bought two wonderful rugs from a private seller. The other one is an old and fine Armenibaft. And paid much less than i want to pay for yours. The pic is not the best, without any sunlight and low dissolution. The wool is thick and shiny as a Bijar must be. Although yours is very worn i think it is a better shot because of the design.

Yes, it is. Are you offering any pieces on rugrabbit, too?

haven't bought or sold rugs for some time now. but what i can say is rugrabbit seems to be a great resource for buyers and sellers. a little off topic, but as a seller, have you noticed results from listing there?

Chis you say Brads rug is very worn but I don't see it that way at all just well used and intact. It has a few low spots but they aren't bad. If you don't like your rug I'll give you $350 for it.

There was quick response on every rug and carpet i listed...but never sold one (on rugrabbit). Most of collectors do come from USA or GB. They want to have the chance to convert if they are not happy with a piece. But this is not interesting for me. Inside Germany converting would not be the problem.

At auctioneers Brad´s Bijar would be condition c-d, very worn in places...while mine is condition b, overcast sides. Thank you for the offer.

What do you mean overcast sides? Brad's rug has intact sides as far as I could see.

From the pics I saw they were original as were the ends. I don't think it was ever touched.

If you really want to know about the sides of Brad´s rug you have to ask him.
