hey,

i am looking at this kilim listed on ebay from the seller Pakobelrugs.

The listing describes it as "wool pile / cotton foundation," but i understand kilims have no pile and are usually wool no cotton.

Is this really a handmade kilim, just wrong description entered?

thanks!

hey,

the rug appears to be handmade, it probably has a wool "pile" (don't know how to exactly describe it, but the design is probably made of wool) even though it's pile-less. Although some pak peshawar rugs do have that color cotton foundation, other characteristics lead me to believe that's a wool foundation
