When I look at depictions of room interiors, I now do so to check out the RUGS. Corcoran represents my building; they recently issued a new catalog of properties; within APARTMENTS for sale here in Manhattan, two were shown with splendid Sarouks on the respective livingroom floors, in one case, it appears two. I scanned these two images and will now upload them.

I think I found another.....tho for some reason, it doesn't look antique to me. Possibly semi. Again, these Sarouks make the rooms.

I think the last one might be a Lilihan. I would like to go see these rugs. I would also like world peace.

I know.....I was only positive about the top one too. And the apparent corner detail in the middle one did give me pause. But re the Lilihans, kindred to the Sarouks, there are currently two vintage ones on eBay, each for over 10K......the really wonderful ones are just spectacular, with such vivid energy and personality.

People should just let you come and see their rugs! An organized oriental RUG TOUR of Manhattan! We would each pay a fee....and go in groups.

Let me know when this is in place. Applause
