4th in a series of rugs I am posting to find more information.

This has been in the family for over 100 years as far as I know.

Im curious as to Origin/Value/Type/Etc

It is likely I will be selling the rugs.

Fourth rug is more pastel colors . The colors of the front are much more true when you see them in the second closeup picture of the back corner.
78"x52" some of the edge is unraveling and it has a few small stains.

Very nice little rug.

looks like a josan sarouk or very coarse fereghan - again, around first quarter 20th century. Great design. it may be worth it to have them restore the end where the knots were lost up to the minor guard border. whatever you do, DO NOT let them pull out the surrounding rows to even it up with the rest of the rug, this will be bad for value. it's better to leave as is if that's what the repair specialist says. again, good rug, probably has some value, but the missing knots would allude to needing additional intention and therefore more up front $ for repair. it's not uncommon when rugs like this come up, it's more cost effective to sell to dealers only because finding someone good for the job may mean sending it out and repair cost to individuals may be prohibitive. If you have the time, the money, and don't mind waiting it out or finding a good specialist, its probably worth repairing so long as there are no other serious conditional issues.

No ballbark on an actual number on this one either?

This rug honestly doesnt do much for me. Its pretty, but I would not put it in my home, the colors just aren't me!
I would likely sell it as is unless the repairs ended up being fairly minimal in cost.

Is Ebay the preferred method of sale?

I would not have guessed it would be the proper outlet.

if you decide to sell as is, ebay would be good, or sell to a local dealer. if the big one is repaired with very high standards, it could very well be a candidate for a big auction house. More photographs will help determine value for the others,
