Besides I figure you can go through $180 these days on not much more than dinner and a movie. --- actually, I was in Manhattan a couple of weeks ago and forget the movie - the $180 would just about cover dinner :-) Anyway, I'll post an update when I receive the rug -- fingers crossed ++ no Jilly-esque experience. Thanks for the all the helpful info!

I hope....congrats! It sure looks amazing. Yep.... some would call $180---V courageous offer, by the way on percentage basis, way to go!-- chump change, alas. But the corner bucks-stags alone....worth every penny. Forget the birds and the ducks and I believe also SWANS!!! (Unlike primates, swans mate for life & the lady swans wear Vera Wang.) But also don mean you aren't entitled to know what you are buying, all the relevant data accurately......even if it's a used but in X condition DVD on Amazon!!! It's the PRINCIPLES.....of the PRINCIPAL, meaning, the vendor.
My presence here is coming to an end.....but trust me, I will make sure to find out every single detail re when this puppy arrives in Houson. It's an ADVENTURE!!!!

Addendum: looking at topside closeups of yr rug....I first thought there was abrash in the lite blue field in which the ducks swim in the diamond shaped medallions. But suddenly felt it might be purposeful!!
Then I googled these rugs. Then I came upon Mr.O'Donnell whom I know about from having been a member of this community....now I just heard him speak for the first time, he sounds so NICE..address a Kurdish Bijar....a big one being blocked. THIS rug U will see, has something vetty interesting indeed! the use of two colors of wool in one area, NORMALLY KNOTTED IN ONE color.! In this ironic case, it is BLUE AND WHITE!
He showed this in video cloeeups and said he'd seen this rather uncommon phenomenon coupla times before....in very old Kudrish rugs and sometimes in very new! Would it not be amazing if yours has this?????
