I am now in a Harry Potter movie....but with Herizes.

Guess what I just found? SIBLINGS!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/e...em&item=200305541551
http://rover.ebay.com/ro...9&mtid=824&kw=lg

OK.... piano, piano.......the big one I, ADORE. But, long edges would be covered by funritiure too much I think. Ten feet=too wide, esp for something lIke this, where U should see all of it mostly. But OMG. See where it is already... and LONG way to go?! This will go for like $900.

Smaller one---right size... I LIKE. Also long way to go This litter of puppies is (no apologies to Paris Hilton, evah) HOT.

I need calming and sane humans saying wise and insightful things. Maybe I also need to do speed isometrics for my little fingas!!!!! So much for any normal life returning for me in the next days.

Pro was right: it's a MULTIPLE BIRTH!!!!

wow! I really like the first one listed on the top: my favorite color and design of the two. 10' wide tho, said that may be too wide?

looks really nice, has a Heriz type of weave. I love the islimi type designs. you really don't see this much in newer wool Heriz rugs so it's cool.

Ok wut are you....my DRUG DEALER????? Like I need encouragement???? Is it not FAB U LOUS? See? Even YOU like it!!!!! I gotta get out my steel tape again. For a change. Yes, this is the best of the litter. I blew up every shot to 800% All you see is pixels. But I even like those.

But can you imagine what it will go for??? Yes, too wide, but Maybe I could hang the Chesterfield form the ceiling. This building was built like Fort Knox & is magnificently maintained. Plus....it has a SOUL. Brass escutcheons, ceramicand wire lath behind the plaster......you drill into the ceiling and U must use a new masonry bit for each hole (I hang plants from the ceiling)

I hang the Chesterfield so none of the rug is under it. and get a little oak ladder so people can climb up & sit on it and look down on the rug. OK, at their own peril, but who cares?

I need to get clear and make a plan. Or else, I will be in harm's way.

I just sent this re the big one:
Dear www.ecarpetgallery.com,

Hi,

Can you please tell me if this rug has any color run? Also, can you judge what it weighs give or take?

Many thanks,
Jill

I am suddenly aware of the weight factor. Given Amy weighs 24 pounds. the rugs I have known, including my big, ugly garbage rug....weigh seriously. Were I looking for some ethereal silk prayer rug, it would not matter. Today, I suddenly I got it matters. Yes, I get, big, machine made disgustings prolley also weigh..but that is a whole other thing.
An amazing all silk duvet cover I got on ebay from vendor in China, for waaaay less than I could have anywhere else.... seams all piped, deep scarlet, 19 momme weight.....weighs.. lots more than a lower mommeweight. In silk, mommeweight is like KPSI. But not exactly.

She is HEAH!!!!!!! SHE WAITED INTIL JUST AFTER i CAME HOME.......i WILL bE RIGHT BACK!!!!! this is Real Time post!!!!!!

OMG she is naked!!! I mean wrapped in like plastic and visible to the world!~!!!! Is this how they ship rugs???? Let me get the evil little Nikon.
_______________________________________________________
Now.....cause this is such a stellar moment in human history.....I must take pics in stages. I am doing cheap emulation of the vids Cloudband has on U-tube. But without the music. Pls download "Rehab" and play it while vewing these. wish I could still download and open jpeg files like I used to here.
I am already confused, cause thru the plastic, her underside looks DARK. Maybe this is not Amy!!!!!! Maybe this is Britney!!!! Just from the outside, I am already depressed......but it's a tiny adventure....just opening her, right? RIGHT?

Now I will open her.....and prepare myself for shock and awe.
*****************************************************

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!! THIS IS SO NOT AMY!!!!! THIS THING..... deep red!!!!!!!! This is the wrong rug!!!!!!!! this is not the Disneyland, DeNiro in Casino AMY AT ALL!!!!! OK my whole new addiction is total chronology of nitemares!!! Every day at least two more!!!!!

Someone pls Taser me. OK, I will calm down, unroll her fully and take pics.......I simply do not BELIEVE this! Did I not say from underside thru plastic....I thought she would come in a BOX.....she looked DARK???????? Very low kpsi......looks like a pre schooler loomed it......pls get the Taser.

OK I am stunned. HOW CAN COLOR FIDELITY IN THE PIC IN THE POST BE this radically DIFFERENT FROM THE REALITY?????? I am calling 911.
First I gotta chill and take pics. Nobody will believe this, OK? Why post pics on eBay if they in no way represent the item???????? Wut kinda camera are these people using???????

OK I am stunned. This is NOT AMY. No wondrously garish salmon field.......burgundy!!! Are U SERIOUS?????? Amy was hilarious. Verging on deleriously funny. This rug is NOT A FUNNY RUG AT ALL.the rest seems right....the asymmetry of the Luri design.....lots of abrash, I did Robert's wool test, she passed......very coarEs wool, like 12 kpsi.....BUT I bought THIS FOR JOY AND FUN AND SILLY. this rug.....is an IMPOSTER!!!!!!

Hold on for more pics....I am like stunned.
Next group of pics to follow....OMG, why bid on a SERIOUS rug not for no money... if you can't even expect to receive the rug you thought you got????

I mean say you go for something you really want.....like that better than the one I bid on, too big but so what Heriz? Then it arrives and it is no way the rug you bid on, won and paid for??????

Note: the field on this NOT AMY.....IS DEEP RUBY. It is actually not a bad color....again, bigtime abrash. No wear. In the pics where color looks liter.....that is ot the color. BUT I bought a wildly insane, funny, garish rug. THIS is no way IT.

I just got.....& am positive, my mother arranged this from the grave. My mother had Amy hijacked and replaced her wit DIS!!!!! The field color, I just realized, not so different from her giant Sarouk!!!! I will now swear in Italian.

Does anyone have any EXPLANATION for this whole thing? Anyone ever get not at all the rug they bid on?

Pro...p.ls get, I am in shock. I am still not over its unexpected PRESENCE. I think it is a Luri....Amy was a Luri. What do you mean by whole bunch of wefts? How can I know what I should do with it until I get over seeing it? Plus, for 7 hours, I must soon focus on clients. Some of whom are loosing their jobs. I can not say, get ovah it, U think U have problems? I am in RUG SHOCK, who cares U are loosing yr job? THAT IS NOT what they pay me for doing.

And let me add if I may.....I have now seen a gazillion rugs on eBay. Never one like this. Nor had I seen anything like the real Amy. I am serious.
I do not know what this is. Only that is is now in my apartment and I need to figure this out.

Is this like a peasant rug of some kind? What the hell is this rug??????
-____________________________________________________________________
I need to not look at this for 7 hours. Now I must find out wut this is. I just started and found this:
http://www.orientalrugsonline.co.uk/searchRes.jsp

Is this a Luri tribal rug? I will again now upload the real Amy. How can I leave feedback when I am in shock. What would I say, This is not Amy!? How can U ask me to know what I am supposed to do with it when I have no way gotten over seeing it????
I don feel good.

OK, this is the kinda Luri Behbehan. "strong reds". And rectangular, not restrained, sqaure. Nomads in South of Persia. I need a pill of some sort. I should run down to Dierdre on 2. She has many pills. But I must start evening work.

There are two main types of Luri rugs on the market. The first are the nomadic carpets produced in the South; these are called Luri Behbehan. They are similar to Qashqai rugs and made entirely of wool, but they use a different range of motifs and are fond of bright contrasting colours. A strong red is particularly predominant. The other type of Luri rug is marketed in the town of Khorramabad. These are squarer and more restrained in colour. The designs are very varied; all-over patterning is common. The fringes are often beautifully braided.

I am little nauseous.
http://www.oldcarpet.com/luri.htm
************************************
I must astop Googling, calm down, focus and start working.

I just found something re the Luri wefts:

Much like a Kazak Rug there can be a number of rows of wefts between each row of knots. See how we see a great deal of white in the brown area in the Lori gabbeh, Fars, C. 1920-40 to the left. It is most notable in the brown area since the brown dyes tend to make the wool brittle and subject to wear. The long pile wears away showing the broad areas of weft underneath.

Hope this explains why you see so many wefts.....I did not see them. Cause I am in shock. But I guess the Nikon saw them.
________________________________________________
i have ten mins to log onto my evening work site. OK, this is a southwest Persian new tribal.....they are all tribal, Luris, woven by nomads. I just read they often have both the floral and geometrics.....the asymmetry. I need to recover and gather data when I can. At some point I will get clear. It's all too unexpected now.....and that will take time to recover from.

And pls keep an open mind, OK? Do not diss the wefts until we learn about the wefts in these particular rugs, pls.......U have paradigm in head of finely woven carpets with normal wefts---like my rug....even like this garbage rug....not all rugs have those....I am trying to get clear and not be harshly judgmental, cause that is never a good thing to be. I now....am between clients--believe these wefts are typical of luri wefts as per that thing I found via Google

This Not Amy rug is in my life to teach me stuff. I am serious. Not sure what that stuff is.....but I am positive it is stuff.

At least it isn't BORING, ok? Let us not hurt its feelings. A human being made this thing, OK? I can feel their presence just from the selvedges.
__________________________________________________________
Googling between clients. Said in above thingy the wefting on these related to wefting on Kazak rugs. I see the Kazak rugs....from whole other place, have red wefts. I am throwing the word wefts around as if I din learn it only coupla weeks ago. Which I did.

Also I see, when you brush the pile in the center medallion if U can call it that....brush the pile in different directions it changes level of light and darker. I first thought this was the famous color run. It isn't. This is more dense wool than I thought.

Who else would have this rug in her LR at this moment cept Jill? Nobody, OK? I think I should also see it by day in sunlight. Maybe it will metamorphose magically into Amy. Maybe.....this is a CHAMELEON rug. Maybe.....it changes colors.

I just logged of work site....non stop clients, I am outta gas. Pro.....I UPLOADED Amy again. She is right above in this thread. She is huge. Now I will got to my ebay and past a link to the transaction.

At least now I have seen abrash in person. Almost like stripes of reds in the field....it doesn't bother me so much, really, this whole thing in is mysteries bothers and confuses me; the real Amy has entirely different, and HILARIOUS field color.....I do not understand who this rugs is

By the way it appears image links are now clickable again! (Yay!) Cause they are again RED. Tell me, did the field color of this strange rug do that? the deep red? lol

Ok, this link bettah work. If it does not....i am going to make as many screenshots as I need to make the whole page visible to all. OK? http://rover.ebay.com/ro...9&mtid=824&kw=lg
_________________________________________
Link appears OK. Buying rugs not in person can be a terrifying thing. I just learned that.
_______________________________________________
EDIT! Now that I can focus not on clients.....I just looked at the pasted stuff outside the plastic. Guys......the number of this rug is the same number of Amy. 4594 It is the number under the image I save in my Rug Obsession folder.....and again uploaded above. I will now scan this stuff and upload it here.

Something happened to the hilarious Amy I bought for laughs.....In transit. Or......something HUGE AND GARGANTUAN is wrong these peoples' camera in Canada. Only other possibility.....Amy has MULTIPLE PERSONALITIES! SYBIL!!! omg

Hold on now..

Notice: Wouldn't cha know it? Suddenly, my scanner is not commnunicating with this puter. In either drive. I will need to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. Meantime.....I just took pics and will upload. This rug has the Amy Number. Part of the "5" is ofbuscated by the handwritten "6C".....cause lobby attendant must record every parcel entering or leaving the lobby and put the Apt # in black on every parcel entering. If you can call this a parcel.

Note, the identity is confirmed also in the lower shot of the "part number" Same number. I guess, OMG.... this is Amy. She just, in the field color, bears no resemblance AT ALL to the too small for my LR anyhow rug I thought was hilarious, bid on and won. Not even CLOSE. I can only say.....I completely believed the colors depicted in the listing. Why wouldn't I? This, the reality, is not one or two shades off the depictions......it's around 800 shades off.

PS, just saw this from the original listing re the Luris or Loris, it is accurate......at least Sumthin is:

The pile is deep, and the wool is coarse, but of excellent quality. Again, it passed Robert's wool test....no fibers came off. I think this rug is a little scary. But I am ingoring it until I can really look at it calmly. After sleep and in the light of day.

But maybe nobody should believe, if they buy from this vendor......that the actual item bears any color relationship to what they assume. It was just a little shocking, is all. OK, a lot shocking. Still is. At least I am laughing agian.
________________________________________
Just looked for the first time.....they do offer 30 day return. Most rug vendors on ebay do not do that. I feel bad for this rug. The actual version is not terrible. It's just very, very strange and completely unexpected. And odd. It is trying to be a serious rug. The one I thought I got on a lark....did not wanna be serious; it just wanted to have fun.

I see it a little more now..the real version. There's a lot to see. Starting with the asymmetry. This is a strong, sturdy, primitive rug. It has strong, sturdy, hearty, primitive wool. Pile is almost half an inch. Very odd. Tomorrow, I am going to try to capture the real color. I am tired....but I only count 9 colors. At least this is not a cliche. Nor is Amy Winehouse.

BULLETIN!!!! GOOD NEWS for anyone in luv with this rug as I have been, having wanted its sibling.....tho it is too big and I now WANT DECENT KPSI....but if it looks even close to what it does in their images, it is amazing. Just found this:

Dear ariesjill,

Hi

There is no color run. Rug weighs approx 80lbs and up.

Basil

My poor Amy weighs 24 pounds. that is why I asked about the weight. Tho this Heriz isa way bigger than Amy.

Note: Between clients, got notice the Heriz is ending soon, I looked.....while no color run V good.....it still has BAD kpsi......but it as very low price still with 2 hr to go......so compulsively, I just entered an 'I am playing" bid. I think 401. It was an impulse OK? Cause I need 1) big, well made I now get...wicked ugly rug form garbage I can't believe anyone will buy when I try to sell, 2) poor Amy rug I will send back, 3) another OMG, gorgeous maybe but garbage rug.

I am going to end up with that 180 kpsi, really attractive newly made Sarouk.

But that will be in next days. Not sure where this one at now cause I am working. But my take still is this rug will go for close to 4600......in last minutes. The Rug God saved me form getting its sibling when someone ismped my $650....I now see this and that it was a blessing from The Rug God.

Did this a whle back.....trying to work.

This one looks like it could be worth trying a low bid on.

If you can get it for under $100, that's probably a really really good deal. even if the ends show wear and pile too. Only thing is the buyer has zero feedback and a "rug" oriented ID, which implies they may know the value of it,

Which was the sarouk you wanted to go with? we were looking at 2

Hi!

OK, first, I am again very moved you took any time at all to hunt for a rug for me. I mean that. But please stop!!!!! It upsets me. Not sure how you found this old Sarouk, but I did not. I already emailed them questions, cause I have never seen a rug listing absent almost all the info. My take is it's small, or even a runner. I asked them size, amount and consistency of pile. I can feel U hate even the idea of a new rug. It violates everything you love. You wold rather have something antique, with visible knotheads as we see in this maybe runner Sarouk.....than anything with giant bias tape. I know. I truly do. Pls do not go on hurting over this. I am almost over that part of the hurting. I mean it. It is a journey. Isometric struggles with "if only"....are part of life but also often pointless, yes?

I am positive I need to spend at least 1K. but that is WAY lower than I planned. This will all work out. I promise. an largely, because of YOUR PRESENCE, all I have learned just to this point.... and having the great privilege of sharing the often insane and arcane details with the handful of humans on earth who understand any of it.

Here again is the rug I feel I will end up with: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/e...IT&item=140243132254

And the minute I get real info about the sarouk U unearthed, I will post it immediately, and thanks again!!!!

In around 2 hours I can focus on rugs. I can't with non stop clients.

****************************************
OK under 20s mins to go in the too big no kpsi but maybe gorgeous Heriz auction and I am still hi bidder with my 401 impulse bid. Would it not be INSANE if I actually got this thing for No money? And LIKED IT? Nah....not possible.

Case anyone wants to observe: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/e...em&item=200305541551

Hold it.....heard the click in my other browser, they are starting to swarm.....the end game Heriz lusters. I've been outbid. And I am not entering another max bid....I am meant to get the sarouk above. the one with the DECENT kpsi and I think it is very, VERY pretty.

OK, I just erased what I wrote by accident....I think I need an exorcist. Or a shrink. I think I am outta control and now compulsive. Someone overtook m & MY HANDS and upped my bid. i THINK IT WAS ME, OMG. I think cause I am now insane and it was still no money & i JUST GOT NUTS. In literally last 3 seconds, someone snipped. Why did I bid on this rug? It is too wide, I know my REAL RUG now, THAT NEW SAROUK---Heriz has no kpsi, I now get......and it prolly doesn't, in person look anything like it does in their imges. WHY DID I BID ON THIS RUG???? I was positive I would not. Before I did.

In the last minuter when I thought I had it.....I was SO excited! WHY?????? And I still resent whoever got it for no money. Why???????

Final on this litter:

I now get the Rug God was protecting me when Satan took over my fine, Cherry (best in the world), made in Germany KB during this auction and placed two bids. I think this "private' person who got it is dealer and nimble sniper. I am sure he will do OK with turnover. I would rather be me. Also bet in person it looks nothing like in pics, and I knew it was wrong for me for all the reasons I came to way before the auction.

Saved me sending back another wrong for me rug. Thank U, Rug God!!!!!! (genuflecting smilie.)
