Someone snipped in the last few second and it ended at FIVE HUNDRED, TEN. The far less wonderful than mine (almost mine) heriz. I am tellin ya....as nervous and hysterical as I was at the end, and the sniper, calm and focused.....I was already trying to raise my max bid when it was over. I would have gone to 7.
To me, it was a very special puppy.
Boy I watched just now, I was actually nervous just as I was a the end of the auction I bid in-- this sniper moved as fast as the one who got mine did!!! I guess they enter the higher max bid and wait to hit submit until the very last second. Sneaky piggies. But U gotta admire it.
You are right; same ole same ole. But, again, my take is, things have gotten maybe WORSE. there will always ben an infinite supply of empty barrel with hole in bottom, the end justifies the means opportunists out there. A colossal dearth of self esteem marks each....and so a dearth of empathy. If you identify with The Other, there is no way on God's earth you can take advantage of any fellow being!!! It is NOT AN OPTION. I never have, once in my life so far......& with ongoing opportunities. And I never saw either of my parents capable of that either.
NOT ONCE. and neither was any kinda perfect being. U can not know happy in the moment and be any version of Faust. I observe this, WITHIN....and without. And of this...I am completely sure. And....I could never have the singular joy of liking and caring about another...who could. Not WOULD....could. I speak from experience. I have fired many people form my personal life for whom I came to lose respect.....always with terrible pain aned trying to hold n ot who they once were. It's a journey. there are no guarantees who makes one versus who doesn't.....and in what direction.
You make honest efforts, I will walk thru fire for you. You do Faust....I am history. I do not care what anyone does teccically.....but I care hugely about how they do it. It ani't where U go, it's where you are COMING FROM.
