I have returned however briefly.
[sorry! I initially pasted dysfunctional link, i saw, fixed it.]
I am moved to bid on this in next coupla hours for following reasons:
1) Re another thread, I decided not even to go see the new local Sarouk; I hate the colors, the opaque lipstick red makes me vomit; even the blue nearly does; in blowups I already see serious conditin issues.....yet again,, compared with my former rug, its presence would be an ongoing reminder of Very Painful Things. It would be MASOCHISTIC.
1a) I have come to.....for the above reasons, I must abandon vintage "American Sarouks altogether. No way could I get anything not painful for me for 2K or under, no way. The original premise of my hunt was entirely flawed for these reasons.
2) this rug lacks a little passion, but it's pretty, with nice oclors and overall harmony of essence and design.
3) It's new but at least that precludes the condition variables-murkies-traps of the not new....which, within my budget, also means not old and beautifully made.
4) I generally do not like the diamond elements of the Heriz's......but I am fast learner and think this is made in AHAR AND JUST CALLED an Heriz.
Cause it has all the curvilinear elements indigenous to those, OK?
5) While one place says low end ones and I am sure this is one, start a $4 per square foot.....and this, now at $309, is already above that, I also see rugs from this region on say Rugman all for over 1K.
6) I think, given it is an ebay rug....it is at least a little special. Also a little small but I am a little tired. HA HAH.
7) From another thread re the Mashad in NC, I like it, it's too big...but mainly, I, Jill intuit it will arrive with condition issues which will lead to my death by my own hand. lol. I have V good instincts. Nobody tell ME COLOR RUN (as opposed to abrash) results form WASHING. That is wut he said ON THE PHONE. I should haVe said "Really? Aniline THIS!" hahahahahahah Ho.
8) I will, when the Amy Winehouse rug arrives, it is now impending, if I end up with this....mate this one with it and end up with something I really like.
http://rover.ebay.com/ro...9&mtid=824&kw=lg ) I found an Ahar online, sold on ebay coupla years ago. It was to die for. Vendor no longer on eBay. So what? Sew buttons. LOL
PS. I am little boggled by not being able to see normal, consistent, visible weft rows on underside, but not in person is not in person and auction will soon close.

At least two dealers interested in this one. Cept dealers bid on rugs I would pay not to have in sight. I am sure they know the tastes of their respective clientbases and those vary.
The now most recent bidder, "private," I see, bids on 'paper money and coins." He is Bernie Madoff. U think U can fool a Corleone?
