Has any other people used this stain removal guide on the main site? I usually don't have stain that I can't treat with water, towel and afta but would be interested in you experience.

It is good, but really for wool piled carpets with cotton or wool foundation - no silks or artificial silks. Just remember to always try out any solution in an inconspicuous area first, and never scrub. Always remove all excess soiling, blot and work toward the center of the stain as best you can (working with pile direction). Be sure to rinse any agents applied thoroughly and slow dry completely with aid of a fan. Don't use heaters, the rug may dry unevenly.
