Welcome to the forum, nice looking carpet.

Its a Machine made carpet, it's probably worth several hundred bucks if it's in nice shape, slightly more if it's in really excellent shape with no stains, problem areas or worn spots. Cant tell from the photos provided, but it looks like a stain which would really drop the value.

Someone looking for vintage pieces may be willing to spend a pretty penny for something like this if it's in really nice shape. What were you thinking of doing with it? Craigslist would be my bet for this, although trying to list on eBay with best offer in store inventory may not be bad either

Thank you for the quick review. The spot is actually a shadow created by the camera, the rug is in immaculate condition with no stains, spots or worn area anywhere. If anyone is interested in this please dont hesitate to ask about it, I would like to sell the rug, but get a fair price for it. Its been in my garage and stored for at least 20 years.

Craigslist would probably be the best bet. These are not stains though? do you have a picture of the entire rug open or no

I laid out the rug the best I could, overwelms my garage space. That particular area was not a stain, but some other areas had some small stains. I will look at getting it cleaned or the best way to remove the stains myself and then upload a picture for eveyones review.
