DOBAG rug help needed

Hello,

I am ready to part with my DOBAG rug purchased in 2000 from Return to Traditons in San Francisco. Is there any good way to go about it to get maximum value for it. retailed for $8k.
Size: 8'3" x 12' 6"
Knots: 926,084
Motif: Florentine Tile
Field: Red
Colors: traditional plant dies

Sounds like you may be able to skip step 1 and 2 if it's hand knotted

I wouldn't know about current value but I would hope you still have the original certificates that came with it. (with all DOBAG rugs)
And, mostly related for others reading here, you really should see the book called Return to Tradition: The Revitalization of Turkish Village Carpets (Paperback).
It's the wonderful story of the DOBAG project, well written and well illustrated. (But, I just found that this $28 book is now selling for up to $98 new
