Any help is appreciated here.
I recently bought 2 old rugs at a yardsale. I would love to know how as much info as I can about them and if they are worth anything. I threw pics of a 3rd rug in there but I don't think its worth anything

hello and welcome to the forum. 013 is a picture of a what I think is a kadjara rug from what I believe is just north of Heriz. It looks it with the knot arrangement, the wool and single weft. often these pieces have spaghetti size weft

the picture 003 says to me hamadan.

Unfortunately neither rug is in good condition. the one with the red field, or the Kadjara, this has an allover field, somewhat resembling a geometric sarouk design, or perhaps more likely, a allover heriz design. this blue background rug has a herati field, which is a repeating pattern.

the fact that these are not in good condition is not working with them. the rugs are missing lots of knots from the corner, the centers of the ends too. wear is heavy and isolated. not too much value, especially given if they were to be washed, they would need to get fixed first which also can cost some money.
