Hello,

I wanted to know the age and possible value of this rug.
Size: 3’ 2” X 2’ 1” (96cm X 65cm)
knots per 7cm is around 60.
Wool on cotton

Because it has been on the wall it is difficult to tell the age from images. However, I think it is about 50 years old. Value of picture carpets like this depends on how much somebody wants them. They are very difficult to sell. I think it could sell from anything between $200 to £1000. So take your pick. For insurance purposes, the value would be around $1500.
