I like some of these garden panel rugs. I read a little about them (newer -1900s - product made in response to western demand). Is this a true representative? It doesn't "look" like it has silk, but I wasn't certain. Any sense of age and value private transaction. The rug is 4.5 ft by 8 ft.

I "think" that is a leaf (brown spot) in bottom pic, need to check!

The colours in the image are quite nice. It is Qum and about 20 to 30 years old. I do not think that is a leaf at the bottom and looks more like coffee stain. These pieces are not much in demand at the moment and considering the stain as well I think a fair private sale would be around $150, as you are taking a punt on the stain coming out.

Thanks for the input, I thought the colors were very pleasing also. It wasn't sure if it contained silk (although the fringe looks quite fine to me), and I appreciate that it can be hard to tell from a photo, what do you think in that regard.
