Hello - I thought this was a beautiful rug, although the pics of the entire rug are overexposed. The closeup shows the true colors much better. Also, are creases (like in lower part/2nd pic) hard to get rid of? Will the washing/drying process help with that? I don't know if it is possible to do an accurate assessment without seeing the knotting, etc., if not, I'll try to get more pics. I thought the floral design was lovely. The rug is 8ft 11 in x 11 ft 10 in. Thanks for any information!

It is a Tabriz or Khoy and a very pretty rug. The signature is Jorabchi. I didn't see any creases but if you mean that it doesn't lie flat at one end then I think that will be sorted once washed, but difficult to tell from the photos and not knowing where it had been before and how it was used. Its a good piece.

Thanks once again, Sharafi! I assume your comment about the signature is that is literally their name (vs. village, etc)? What value would you put on it in a private party exchange - it is
8.11 x 11.10 feet/inches?

That would be the Surname of the weaver. In a private sale I would say anything between $1500 to $2000 is fair.
