Is this one of the most commercially popular motifs, ever? I see it everywhere. Anyway, wondering about the quality, origin, value of this 9 x 11.7 foot rug, I like it's happy mood. It appears to be in relative good condition, to my eye at least, although I suspect it needs cleaning (small spots lower right white field).

Sharabian Heriz, seems to be in good condition, but as you say needs a good cleaning. I suspect it has a lot of dust and once cleaned the colours will really glow. Some of these have very harsh colours but this one seems to have a nice colour combination. You probably have to pay about $2500 to $3500 in a shop. I think it is about 40 years old.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I think a trip may be in order. And additionally, one of the byproducts of discussing these rugs is a geography lesson, I do enjoy looking at where they come from and scenes of the area. Angel
