Hello - I just recently purchased this runner (~9ft x 2 1/2ft) from a private individual and am wondering what it is (origin, motif, etc.)? And what an estimated value would be? I took the attached tage with a grain of salt. . . There are 2 additional images of the back embedded in the picture displayed. Thanks for any info. It works perfectly in the hall vs. nearby rugs, so I'm happy regardless, but would like to know more. The rug is currently getting clean as well as the corner fringe pull which appears to be vacuum damage. As we have another rug to purchase, the more I can learn, the better. Thanks so much.

It is a Birjand (Mood) from Northeast of Iran. It is about 20 years old, seems to be in very good condition. I would have thought if you wanted to buy it in a shop you would have to pay at least $1000

Thank you so much for that information! It is very gratifying to know a bit more about where these rugs come from, it speaks to their "character" and place in the home.

It looks like the selvedge on the right lower corner of the rug needs to be repaired. All other infos of Sharafi&Co agreed.
