I found this piece today. It has been nailed to a frame. Is it a bagface or just a small piece? 16"x35" approximate. I really appreciate any info on type/age/use. Thanks so much for any information you provide! Sorry to post 3 in a row, i promise its the last for quite awhile!

I think its a Shahsavan. Its Mafrash side panel. Mafrash are kind of larger bags that they use for carrying goods on the back of camels or donkeys. It needs a bit of attention from what I can see. First Floor, unit 9 1 Chandos Road London NW10 6NF UK www.sharafiandco.com

It is very dirty and mounted on a wood canvas frame. I think removing it and cleaning it will help. I plan on looking into someone who is better at the task of removing it as i dont trust myself not to destroy it in the process.
