I picked up 2 rugs yesterday. The first was advertised as silk. It is 52"x85". I would like to know type/ value. Thanks so much for any help!

This is a vintage Indian Kashmir around 1980s. It is difficult to tell if it is silk or faux silk from the photos but you can find that out by doing a burn test. I am not sure about the price but in a shop they should be about $150 per square meter if not silk and $300 if silk First Floor, unit 9 1 Chandos Road London NW10 6NF UK www.sharafiandco.com
