Identification - possibly Tabriz with Sheikh Safi design

Dear forum,

I would appreciate your thoughts and rough price on my rug that I believe is a Tabriz with Sheikh Safi pattern.
The rug is quite heavy and unhandy when handled alone.
Please let me know if further information is needed.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the rug is 300 X 400 cm

Its a 1960s to 70s Mashad and you are right about the design.

I think if you want to buy it in a specialist shop you would have to pay about £1500 to £2000 but of course the auciton value is much lower.

Agree with Sharafi&Co. Old Meshed rug. Seems to have low pile where the color is lighter on the images.
