We recently received several antique Persian rugs from my bf's family. I'm trying to learn more about them--identification, age, value, as well as info on the technique and symbols. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's what I know: rugs were purchased in Iran by my bf's grandfather who had a rug business in Wisconsin. According to his dad, they are over 100 years old.

I am including some pictures. Please forgive the poor lighting. Any info is appreciated!

Size: 7.5 feet x 4.5 feet

Thank you!

Nina

Hi
I would say this is a Kurdish rug jaff
it has age maybe 1900 or so
but has lost its border at one end sadly
which will make it not as valuable
