I'm trying to learn more about them--identification, age, value, as well as info on the technique and symbols. Any help would be appreciated. Here's what I know: rugs were purchased in Iran by my bf's grandfather who had a rug business in Wisconsin. According to his dad, they are over 100 years old. I am including some pictures. Please forgive the poor lighting. Any info is appreciated! I'm also looking for good sources--books, websites, etc--to help me learn more about vintage Persians. You have not put the size down but I assume it is around 300x90cm and in my opinion the auction price for it is £120 to £200.
