Is this a fair price? How good are these compared to Qum or the Kashmiri Silk on Silk rugs in terms of quality, longetivity and price. The knot count is stated to be 277KPSI which seems low to me given that I have seen Kashmiri silk rugs to start at higher knot counts. Thanks for the help.

I have never seen one of these closeup. But I would be a bit worried about it not being genuine silk. There is no picture of the back to be able to see the knotting. However, from the front it does not look very fine it is already looking a bit ragged. I would be a bit weary of a company that describes its rugs like they have, which is calling them an investment and that the price goes up year by year. I am also not too sure that it is woven on silk, the fringes appear cotton to me.
