Hello all! I have been wanting to buy a "Persian style" rug for a long time. The other day I was at a German thrift store and saw this one- it's clean and in pretty good condition. I purchased it for 20 euro, so I am not expecting it to be worth a ton, but it does seem to be handmade, so I am very interested in where it is from and what style it is (my small amount of internet research has me thinking it is from Nahavand, Iran). The rug is 5X8.5. Anyway, I would love any details you might have so that I don't just own a random rug that I know nothing about!

Well talk about a bargain. It is a Persian Nahavand from West of Iran. Seems to be in good condition. Well done. I don think you would be able to get it less than Eur1000 in a shop
