Hi KAD, and others,
This ~18'x12' rug is represented by its current owner as "200 years old." I am skeptical. Are you able to hazard a guess as to its age?

These things are difficult to pin down from an image. I don't know about 200 years but it could certainly be over a 100.

I don´t know any rugs this style and type with age 200 years. I would say 1900 - 1910 +/- a few years. A very nice rug by the way ;-) .
