Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum and have a few rugs I can't ID. This is the first one,

I first thought Chinese then saw the symmetrical knots. Could this be a Mongolian Rug? My research found a very similar pattern in a antique Mongolian however the colors were not Jewel Tones. I could not find any info on the typical knot type for Mongolian Rugs. These colors are the colors of the Mongolian Flag.

I believe the yarn is chrome dyed. It has a average hand It is on a cotton foundation. Pretty sure the edges are wrapped and not sewn on.

From the back it looks to my uneducated eye like it could be made in Nepal, it has a lot of trailing yarn ends.
Any help with where this was made would be appreciated.

It is from Nepal. Traditional Tibet deisgns, probably not made for western dealers. These designs are usually sold in Nepal to tourists.
