Ive had this rug for quite sometime and im wondering if its worth putting any money into. Although large portions of the pile has been worn away it has remained sturdy and in one piece. Approx size is 8x5. Any info on age and type is greatly appreciated! I would love to hear opinions on having it fixed or not to waste the money! Thank you!

I am not really an expert but I would say that this is a Caucasian rug. My guess is 1900-1925. With such large areas of wear, I doubt restoration would be practical. Pretty rug though.

Thank you for the info Cuzinbruce. I didnt think it was that old. I suppose i could just clean it and find a spot on the balcony to show off the good half!
