This one is a Caucasus rug... maybe Daghestan, not Kuba, early to mid 20th century with the Sunburst medallion. It has a wool warp and single weft. The wool warp is usually associated with older rugs and/or NOT the Russian version of these rugs. The single weft is associated with the Dagestan and the double weft the Kuba.

That concurs with the view of the dealer in Baku I purchased it from. What would be the retail/insurance value of this one would you estimate?
