Hi all,
We got this rug (dimensions 200 x 122 cm or 6’7’’ x 4’) because we thought that it fits perfectly for what might be the worst place in a house for a rug, that is the entrance hallway.
Anyway, it did not cost us much, is in really good condition and we think it fits its place perfectly. It was sold as a Nain rug, and I remember a post or two on this forum that showed similar designs of Nain rugs.
Now I have no idea if it is a Nain, and looking at the design flaws I do not know what to make of it. Everything is a bit off, the main medallion is not centered with respect to the main border, the smaller outer and inner borders do also not align with anything.
Is that normal for a ‘city’ rug like this that is even relatively fine (around 300 kpsi)?
PS: the rug is a bit dirty, sorry for that, but our cats love the two rugs we have with red color in it.
