Bought this one at same estate sale. Rescued it off the floor where it had no pad. The selvedge had been wrapped in a blue wool yarn, but I removed it and it is as it appears now. According to some of my references, it has some characteristics of earlier 19th C. Tekke such as 1) opposing dark and lighter color blue in the Tekke Gul, lower knot count of amount 190 kpsi, and, with matching colors and design. There is also an interesting use of a lighter color red to create a design at the ends of the rug. Please tell me its age, origin, and if it is one of those wedding pieces made by the bride. Thankyou for your help.
