Just wanted to share this beautiful Alabaft Tabriz with the community. It was made by Alabaft (father) using kurkwool and silk for pile and silk warp / weft. It is signed in the inner border. Condition: off the wall, almost as new and rarely walked on.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful rug the way it should look, no color runs and it reminds me of the Persian Miniatures on bone/ ivory of Hunt, Polo scenes.
BTW, we still appreciate the time you spent with us in your shop in Germany, showing us your rugs and sharing your expertise. Thanks again also for all your expertise on the RugRag.
