Handmade? (my guess is yes, but haven't been in this department very long to say 100% without someone else with knowledge)

when was it made? (i have no clue)

where is it from? (no clue)

any value? (no clue)

I've had it for 3 or 4 years and it was second hand so i don't know where it originated from. I wanted to get some information if anybody knows before I throw it out someday.

It is 63 inches long without the fringe.

fringe is about 2 inches on each side

45 inches wide

anything would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

sara

Ahh. Why does it look so uneven like it was hand thread? I don't know, I'm comparing it to the last rug I had.

Agree with Nick. It's machine made with a fair amount of wear damage. Design is combination of Heriz and Northwest Persian. Machine made from a process that weaves/ adds pile yarn to a machine made foundation. If handmade, each knot is tied to the vertical threads (warps) one by one until the whole row of knots is completed.
