I saw this at an auction online and I bought it. The abrash in the salmon medallion and the vein-like tendrils that wander across the medallion caught my eye. The wool is closely shorn, extremely soft, with knot count about 256+.looks like fugitive red dye in the spandrels with no bleeding in the front. What type and how old??? It measures 45" by 63" with a meandering Josan border. Running my hands across the pile, it appears to be depressed to the right. So, a Persian knot, depressed to the right, high knot count, salmon, abrashed medallion, midnight blue fill...what's the verdict please. Thanks a lot.
