I believe this to be a mid 19th century kirman
its not very big but the workmanship is stunning
it has to very old repairs which is a shame
what do you think

Wow, what a stunning rug. I think you have an antique, really early Feraghan. Looks like mostly vegetable dyes except some hot reds highlights in places. The back reminds me of my Feraghan..loose, left depressed, asymmetric knot...it has the ivory field and those beautiful tyrian purple. Whatever it is, it is an eye popper! !!
