Hi,
I am looking for some help in ID on this runner I recently purchased. My guess is that it is Persian but I could easily be wrong. Is it a familiar style to anyone on the forum? Condition is very good, it is clean, even has a tag from the cleaners, although I don't know how long it was in storage. I don't see any losses. Rug seems to be somewhat coarsely woven. A thick rug with relatively long pile. Size is 30" wide X 98" long, including the fringes. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruce

I agree with Nick. It's an Indian Tabriz design hunting rug, fairly coarse, newer, 20 years old.

Indo Tabriz - these are copies made in India of the famous Tabatabaei design hunting motifs from the 50's through 70's which themselves were inspired by much older rugs.
