help with a large rug

I am wondering about this rug that we just picked up. It is 10 by 13 feet and heavy. THere are some areas of wear,here and there. I would appreciate any info you can provide. Thank you.

These used to sell on ebay for very low prices - 400-600 even for very large sizes. Now, they are harder to come by under 1500 because import from Iran is not permitted and therefore replacement not as easy. This is not speaking to the value of your rug because I have not evaluated yours compared to what the market was or is now. On your rug, it is also possible the border may have been reduced a bit. Writing on these does not really translate.
