I can't post pictures but I figured that the rug I was trying to post was from the Heriz area-- an AHAR Heriz. It is larger than I posted above-- 12+ ft. by 10+ ft. The knot count is only 8 horizontal by 8-9 vertical. However I don't believe it is a Gorevan. The design closely matches one on Barry O'Donnel page. The wool is thick, the wefts 1 shot rigid cotton and the wefts appear to be sinuous.

I have really missed the RugRag forum and being able to interactively see pictures and learn from them, but as a result I have spent more time on the home page of RugRag and still learning a lot.

I hope the forum comes up soon.
