Here is another rug from the same seller who has provided the pics. This one measures 13.5 by 2.5. They do not know the age but say it is in very good condition. Any ideas on age and type. Also, the seller says it has a made in Iran tag on it.. which would not make it a Oushek... any ideas? cartona attached the following image(s):

To me it looks like a Hamedan that has been given one of these special washes (I call them white wash but I am sure they have a special name in US). Certainly not Oushak First Floor, unit 9 1 Chandos Road London NW10 6NF UK www.sharafiandco.com

Thanks again. Interesting... were they doing this 'color treatment' in a certain decade? Sorry for the misspelling of Oushak... after I posted it I saw I consistently misspelled it twice.

Well IF I am right and it has been given that wash then it would have been in the past ten years or so. The piece, again I can only see one small photo from part of the front of the runner but I think it is about 25 years old.
