This is unbelievable Jerry. You come here asking for information and when you are given it you insult the person that has taken time to reply to you free of charge. With a rug like this, try to get what you can for it. A new machine made rug costs a fair chunk of change. if this is wool, it's going to last a long, long time. Here in the states there are antique stores that charge crazy prices on rugs like this even though they're not hand knotted. When you have a moment - can you post an image of the back of the rug please?

I have learned so much on the forum from the generous experts and rug enthusiasts who freely give their time and expertise and I am so grateful for all the feedback i get.
It is unfortunate that your first post was an undeserved rude remark to Nick, an active advanced member, who was giving you an honest appraisal of your rug. Please use the forum in the spirit for which it was created.
