I have one rug I wish to sell. I am attempting to determine its value and also am interested in suggestions about the best place to post this sale (Ebay, Craislist). Thank you for your assistance.

So far as machine made rugs this is the best rug to have since it's wool. Brand new a rug like this would have sold for a lot of money. If it is not brand new, second hand machine made rugs generally have a price ceiling. Best thing to do is post it everywhere like krrb, kijiji, ioffer, craigslist, ebay and just wait. Maybe someone interested buys, but you will probably have to show to a lot of people.

Would you venture a price range that I should ask for this rug? It is used but in very good condition.

Try to get what you can for it. Start high, work your way down. Maybe research wool machine made rugs, determine the current retail price, then account for some use, and then subtract more as a private party seller. Also perhaps consider cleaning costs for the next owner, that may range a bit too.
