If I could figure out how to attach the pics that would be great..I clicked on the attach photo icon above and nothing. Any suggestions?

I have a beautiful 10x14 foot rug.
Super heavy.
Red, 2 shades of blue, orange, mustard, 2 shades of green.

In pretty good condition, Some fraying shredding on both end. Very tiny gray specks of clay or paint are throughout. Some did come off with a vacuuming and surface cleaning.

We were lucky to find after a neighbor through away.
I would like to know if anybody could help me with a type, year, & price.

Thanks, Sara

Wow, very interesting. Thank you so much. I had a guy offer me $50 for it but of course I declined. I have no idea where to even begin with a price. I just remember buying a much smaller rug, and much less quality from Target about 10 years ago for $200. You can guess where it is now..

Do you have any idea of what the very least price would be seeing the pictures and my notes on condition? So eould this be a handmade rug as well?

Again thanks so much for your time. I really appreciate it!

Yes Sarouk rugs from Persia are hand made.

I don't provide value ranges on the forum myself anymore. Each rug really needs to be evaluated on a one-on-one basis and this takes considerable time. If the rug is healthy tho, it's a good thing you turned down $50.

I sold it for $1000. Because of it's condition. Lot of dark red dust fell from it when I moved it. Dye?
