Hi, This is the second of the two rugs I purchased last weekend. Sharafi & Co. and RugPro kindly identified the brown rug as probably being Indian in a Sarouk pattern. This one is rather dirty but seems sound, although most of whatever fringe it had is gone. The size is about 42" X 60". Any help much appreciated. Bruce cuzinbruce attached the following image(s):

This appears to be a Persian Sarouk ca. 1955. It is blue, which is more rare, although by the time the 50's rolled around they knew this and made a few more because of this. Appears to be a good rug for the type and age. Cleaned up it will have solid value relative to other rugs of similar age that are not high knot density workshop pieces.

Once again, thank you RugPro and Sharafi & Co. Your assistance is much appreciated. I liked it when I saw it and the seller gave me a deal on the two rugs, this and the brown one I hoped was silk, (posted a week ago). Bruce
